For over 20 years I have been a forward-thinking and impactful technical leader. I stay current on the latest technology and maintain a thorough background in IT security, infrastructure, and operations. I am highly technical, able to dig deep into the details and I also possess the leadership and management know-how to build a productive team and lead them to success.
I excel at problem solving, being able to look at an issue, analyze the data, propose solutions, and follow through with the implementation. I have the where with all to understand that the current ‘best’ technology product available doesn’t solve all business needs; I can guide the business to achieve the best results. My experience and knowledge around technology and business contributes to my ability to clearly articulate the solution back to the business.
My level-headed leadership skills were highlighted during a real-world disaster when I handled the disaster recovery efforts after Hurricane Sandy. I led teams through the worst of times coming out stronger and wiser in the end. The initial recovery lasted six months and kept staff away from home for weeks. The following year was spent researching and implementing new technologies resulting in a system that performed the same recovery effect in hours instead of months.
As an executive leader I have a history of implementing state of the art disaster recovery plans and completely transforming IT organizations by driving automation, reducing physical infrastructure and the overall costs.
