Subject matter expert in regulatory affairs for COVID biorisk and biosafety | Founder, MP Consulting and Wail of a Tale Productions | Creator of the COVID Mitig
Ohio, United States
I am a subject matter expert in regulatory affairs for Long COVID biorisk and biosafety. I help clients navigate complex policy environments to achieve better outcomes for their populations, staff, and membership. I founded MP Consulting, a consultation firm specializing in COVID reinfection impacts on health and economy, and Wail of a Tale Productions, a 501(c)(3) documentary nonprofit. I created the COVID Mitigation ROI Economic Model, an OMB Circular A-94 compliant analysis grounded in 121 peer reviewed sources, with methodology aligned with and verified through the OECD's April 2026 framework on the economic costs of Long COVID. I delivered the model to Senate HELP Committee advisors in March 2026, and I maintain ongoing engagement with Senator Sanders' health team. Beyond my consulting practice, I have emerged as an original leader in the Long COVID space. I collaborate with international researchers, advocates, and policy networks, and I maintain active relationships with United States Senate offices to bring visibility to the lived experience of chronic illness, the gaps in health systems, and the urgent need for policy reform. My documentary work is rooted in more than 20 years of academic research, nonprofit management, and investigative storytelling. My first film, The Takeover of Testing, was the first to capture the school to prison pipeline in real time and helped mobilize tens of thousands of activists in the Opt Out movement. My second, Maria's Story: Undocumented Violence, explored the Catholic Church's response to domestic violence in Spanish speaking communities and was adopted by the Archdiocese of Chicago Domestic Violence Outreach Program. I also conducted original research on domestic violence in Eastern Europe, analyzing its intersections with the erosion of democratic institutions and the rise of authoritarianism. I graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern Illinois University with a BA in Communication and an MA in Political Science, and I hold an Executive Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. My storytelling is informed by training at Chicago's Second City. Headquartered in Ohio and working nomadically across three states, I build partnerships with public health leaders, academic institutions, and community advocates to ensure that documentary storytelling, original research, and rigorous policy analysis are used as tools for education, policy impact, and systemic change. https://mlpackconsulting.mlpackconsulting.workers.dev/
