I build data moats and systems that help machines listen and interact like humans do. At Deepgram, I lead the data organization responsible for shaping the voice and language data that trains our AI models. My professional background began in language, writing, and teaching -- work rooted in understanding how people process, express, and interpret meaning. That foundation evolved into the world of systems and technology, and eventually into data, where -- at Deepgram -- I design frameworks that make human communication computable and scalable. The same skills that once went into crafting academic courses or refining prose now drive how I build systems that uncover signal in messy data, scale global operations, and define linguistic and stylistic foundations. My team and I partner closely with engineers and researchers to align data architecture and modeling strategy with Deepgram’s broader product and vision goals. I’m driven by systems thinking and the challenge of connecting the deeply creative, human parts of language with the deeply technical world of AI. Curiosity is both my compass and my fuel. I constantly ask 'why' until the information synthesizes into understanding. I’m relentless about clarity, about seeing patterns where others see noise, and turning complexity into something meaningful.
