HR Director | Global Workforce Strategy | Organizational Effectiveness | Leadership Development | Founder of Journey to Hired
United States
I am an HR Director focused on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent, leadership development, succession, organizational design, change, and HR transformation.
My work has included supporting leaders across engineering, operations, commercial, finance, IT, and new-product organizations. I have worked across the United States, Costa Rica, and India.
Earlier in my career, I led recruiting work that supported more than 500 annual placements across healthcare, education, and manufacturing employers. I also have experience in multi-state HR, union and non-union environments, industrial recruiting, Safety/EHS, and frontline people leadership.
I understand hiring from more than one side.
Before I worked in HR leadership, I worked in retail, sales, factories, production, administrative jobs, and temporary assignments. My career was not planned perfectly.
Sometimes I was simply doing what I needed to do to survive and support my family.
Those jobs still taught me valuable things. The challenge was learning how to explain what the work had prepared me to do and how it connected to the opportunities I wanted next.
That experience is part of why I founded Journey to Hired.
Journey to Hired helps experienced professionals understand what their work may support next. We begin with the person’s real experience. We identify evidence, compare it with real job requirements, call out gaps honestly, and help the person choose a focused direction.
I also use my own career history to test the questions and methods we are building. If something does not feel clear, useful, or realistic when I apply it to my own experience, I do not expect our users to trust it.
I believe:
• A job title does not tell the whole story.
• Transferable experience still needs evidence.
• Not every possible career move is a realistic one.
• People should test a direction before spending money or starting over.
• Technology can support better decisions, but human judgment still matters.
My professional focus includes:
• Global workforce strategy
• Organizational effectiveness and design
• Leadership and succession development
• Talent acquisition and hiring strategy
• HR transformation and technology
• Career mobility and evidence-based positioning
