- Led the growth team’s “virality” initiative—optimizing outbound communication from Pinterest users to their networks: sending, sharing, inviting, etc. - Designed, implemented, and instrumented the inviter on mobile and web: included iOS contact book upload, third party email provider integration, bulk inviting, social typeahead improvements, invite reminders, and over thirty separate experiments on the inviter channel — resulted in a 3x increase in signups from invites. - Productionized a scalable A/B framework for testing text variants across various localizations, including “multi-armed bandit” algorithms for allocating and updating experiment group sizes based on performance.
