“So, what are you looking for in your new role?” My answer to this question has varied over time, grown alongside my experience I think. For now, the answer is that I want to work with amazing people doing something that’s challenging (and therefore super rewarding), and I want to have fun while I’m doing it! My experience ranges over many difference sectors, from a tiny company (just me!) to large organisations both in Australia and Europe. I’ve spent most of my recent years in project management, but my years spent in Service Delivery still serve me well as I can think about the full lifecycle of the products/change that I’m delivering. I tend to lean towards projects with an IT slant to them, so I get a chance to flex my geek a little. Bringing people together to deliver amazing outcomes is what makes me excited to come to work. Every project team I build up has its own unique flavour that suits that particular project. From teams that span countries and time zones, to tiny little power houses “locked” in a war room – being able to predict what a team will need to be successful and deliver the best outcomes is something I pride myself on.
