Commissioned by Urban Walkabout to design custom guides for various city councils around Australia. Each city council came with a unique proposition and purpose that needed to be expressed in every guide. I was also invited to re-fresh the design direction of an Urban Walkabout publication Style Seekers. I am now responsible for managing the creative direction and design of each issue. Handpicked by City of Sydney to challenge what a commercial retail space could be. We set up Oxford St Design Store, a “designer” dollar shop where all bespoke items were priced $20 under. We represented over hundreds of emerging designers over 2 years and held workshops, talks and in-house residency programs for artists. We rapidly built a cult following and were featured in various local & international design media. Pitched at Sydney Vivid Festival & won the Awesome Foundation Grant.
