Think of it as indoor GPS and a bunch of services that save our facilities tons of money by making their staff and workflows more efficient, and purchases more effective.
At Awarepoint I co-led the software team. Our systems managed the device network, calculated location, and served all of the web applications. The technology stack included Linux, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, SOAP, Python, Bottle, Jinja, Beaker, jQuery.
I personally spent much of my time there growing the team from two people to six, and innovating on improvements to the location algorithm to increase accuracy.

At IntelliDOT our mission was to build a tool that would help eliminate medication errors in hospitals, and we believed the reason other products hadn't been successful was because they were focused on the problem, but not the users.
My role at IntelliDOT was varied. I wrote quite a bit of the backend infrastructure during my first year there. By mid-2004 or so I stepped in as the lead of the core team, and over the next few years we did quite a bit to scale the product, processes, and people. I joined Bridge as a fairly junior developer. My primary responsibilities were around building front-end components for their flag-ship product. By late 2001 or so I took charge of a small team within the company and we built an innovative product for making cross-match, typing, and administering blood products safer. At the time there were a number of technical innovations. After that I worked on a team building a next-generation product for the company before they were absorbed (by SAIC, if memory serves).

I wrote and ran tests, and eventually entire frameworks for a number of commercially successful products while I was there. I worked very closely with the firmware team for some of HP's All-In-One home-office products, building test components to exercise parts of the product before the device was testable as an entire system.
