For as long as I can remember, my friends and colleagues have called me T-Money because of my interest in finance, business, and entrepreneurship. This passion really evolved when I went to Notre Dame. Professors and classmates there challenged me to ask more of myself and business. I realized that businesses must be a force for good in our world. I have been fortunate to work for a Fortune 25 Bank, regional Credit Union, a FinTech, and have started several companies. This career journey thus far has helped me understand business, leadership, traditional banking (TradFi), and discover the world of digital assets. My learning continues! I believe finance can be greatly improved with things like decentralization, tokenization, blockchain ledgers, and independent banking. However, as these things are being developed, we must be mindful of their power to be used for good and bad. It is incumbent upon us to self-regulate and root out bad behavior. I try to be thoughtful and question the status quo. It has been proven time and time again to me that the broader the statement, the more ignorant the comment. I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves, get into the details, and do the work to understand and get better at something. I am a classic insecure, millennial overachiever. :) I was a recipient of a Twenty in their Twenties, and have a couple of "under 40" awards. These came not from selfish ambition, but a deep motivation to live each day to the fullest. Life is short, and I never take a day or relationship for granted.
