Matthew Given is a seasoned education technology executive and proven value creator with more than two decades of experience building, scaling, and transforming software and technology-enabled education businesses. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Seesaw Learning, the world's leading Learning Experience Platform for PreK–5 students, trusted by 25 million educators, students, and families worldwide. Given has established himself as one of the most accomplished operators in edtech, with a career defined by disciplined growth, strategic M&A, and multiple successful exits. Across his CEO tenures, he has led more than a dozen acquisitions, consistently creating substantial value for investors and stakeholders. He began his CEO career at Glynlyon, a leading provider of online and blended learning solutions. He subsequently served as CEO of CeriFi, driving its portfolio of training and certification companies through acquisition and organic growth. He currently leads Seesaw Learning, applying that same M&A acumen and operational discipline to one of the world's most widely used elementary learning platforms. Earlier C-level roles at Catapult Learning and EdisonLearning further deepened his expertise across tutoring, online learning, and blended instruction. Given's executive experience is genuinely global, including substantial business operations and acquisitions in the Middle East, navigating cross-border transactions, regional regulatory environments, and culturally nuanced go-to-market strategies. He has also been recognized for his policy expertise, including influencing legislation in multiple states and testifying on the authorization of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
