Managed a 30 person team of engineers across several initiatives within the organization including search, advertising, analytics, recommender systems, and Hadoop. Worked closely with product, marketing and the CEO. Led the initiative to build and design Etsy's Search Ads product which today is a large revenue driver for the company. This initiative included a significant overhaul of Etsy's search ranking algorithms and integration of IP developed from my startup Adtuitive into Etsy's infrastructure. Adtuitive automated the entire online advertising process for small retailers. Our core technology created advertising campaigns automatically, directly from small business storefronts. As founder and CEO, I developed our initial core IP and system. I led our Series A financing in April 2009. Led successful negotiations with Etsy leading to Adtuitive's acquisition in December 2009. At the time of acquisition, we were serving 200 million ads per month across a dozen verticals.
