I help build AI products that bank operators can trust.
At Titan, I focus on turning AI into something that works inside a bank, not just in a demo. We strive to understand how bank operators actually work, what problems they’re dealing with day to day, and what it takes for a product to meet the standards of security, compliance, and auditability that banks require.
My career has been built across both sides of that equation. I spent a decade consulting for major banks, then moved into building and leading engineering teams in fintech, including co-founding XUP Payments and leading it through acquisition by KeyBank. After the acquisition, I operated inside the bank at scale, leading teams across product and technology and seeing firsthand how banks evaluate, deploy, and rely on software.
That experience shapes how I approach building at Titan. Banks don’t adopt technology based on potential. They adopt it based on whether it works, whether it’s explainable, and whether they can stand behind it with regulators and auditors. A large part of my role is making sure everything we ship clears that bar.
I spend a lot of time connecting the dots between product, engineering, security, and compliance. Making sure what we build solves a real operational problem, and that it can actually be deployed and trusted inside a bank environment.
From operating across consulting, startup, and large-bank environments, I’ve seen how decisions get made at each stage, what matters to operators on the ground, and what it takes for a product to move from idea to something a bank will actually use.
I hope to keep practicality at the forefront of AI in financial services. It’s not about what looks impressive, but what holds up under real scrutiny. The challenge isn’t just building intelligent systems, but making them explainable, auditable, and aligned with how banks manage risk.
At its best, this work gives time back to the people inside banks doing the job every day. When the product is right, it reduces manual work, improves decision-making, and allows teams to operate at a higher level without adding complexity.
