I am an engineer with graduate level research experience in data and quantitative analysis, aspiring to pursue a career in Data Analytics. Extracting meaningful trends and patterns in raw data interests me greatly. I discovered this passion during my graduate thesis work that later converted into peer reviewed journal paper. During that period I had come across R and Tableau and went on to explore ways to incorporate them effectively into my research. With the help of "openair" package in R, I have successfully produced pollution roses and bivariate polar plots that provided insights into the characteristics of the new influx of emissions in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex. I had also utilized Tableau maps in order to better visualize trends in data based on geographic location. I am currently enrolled in the "Data Analytics" program offered by Springboard. Skills that I am focusing to develop are: Structured Thinking, Excel Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, Statistics, Data Visualization with Tableau and Power BI, SQL, Data Analysis in Python, etc.
