I founded MergeGuide to solve a problem I watched paralyze engineering and security leaders for the past year: adopt AI-assisted development and accept ungoverned risk, or reject it and fall behind.
That's a false choice. MergeGuide eliminates it.
We built the AI governance platform — four enforcement layers that inject your organization's policies directly into AI coding assistants before code is generated. 739 detection rules, 18+ compliance frameworks, tamper-evident evidence for every code change. Governance that developers actually use because it makes their work better, not slower.
Before MergeGuide, I spent nearly three decades in cybersecurity — from the Air Force CERT to senior technical and strategic roles at ReversingLabs, McAfee, ArcSight, and others. I've led engagements with global enterprises, designed security architectures, and mentored teams across sales, product, and engineering. I hold a CISSP (since 2000) and a B.S. in Management Information Systems.
I'm building MergeGuide because the tools we relied on were designed for a world where humans wrote every line of code. AI changed that. Governance needs to catch up.
If your organization is adopting AI coding assistants and thinking about governance, compliance, or security — I'd welcome the conversation.
