Chief Finance & Operations Officer
Denver, Colorado, United States
I'm a finance and operations executive who specializes in building the infrastructure that lets mission-driven organizations grow in a strategic and sustainable way.
Most of my career has been spent at inflection points; joining organizations that are expanding rapidly, navigating complexity, or rebuilding systems. I thrive in that environment. I'm equally comfortable in a board presentation and in the weeds of a system implementation.
At Instruction Partners, I've overseen growth from $7M to $30M and 40 to 165 staff — building the finance, operations, people, revenue, fundraising, and technology infrastructure along the way. I also have experience as an independent advisor, working with nonprofits in growth or turnaround as a fractional CFO and COO.
What I'm good at:
→ Multi-year scenario planning and organizational modeling
→ Financial strategy, budgeting, and long-range planning
→ Revenue strategy across earned income, philanthropy, and grants
→ Organizational design, restructuring, and systems building
→ People & culture leadership and team development
→ Technology selection and implementation
→ Sales, revenue, and development operations
→ Grant management and funder relationships
→ Turning complex data into decisions leadership can act on
→ Leading teams through rapid growth and change
I'm based in Denver, CO, and currently work remotely.
