Entrepreneur turned executive--capable of "wearing all hats," but significantly more effective when surrounded by smarter, more talented teammates. I love a problem to be solved, but greatly more rewarding has been helping others become more than they previously were. That has happened for me through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and sometimes even just listening. Most of my career has involved working with China (and other parts of Asia) in some capacity. I've led service and product-based startups, full-scale operations, and even done business development on behalf of factories. It has been such an incredible blessing to work with and learn from people all over the world. I've had many up and downs, failures and successes, but ultimately choose to measure myself by the quality of relationships with the people I spend the most time around. I want my wife, kids, friends, colleagues, and clients to value the work I do, but more importantly, value the way that I live my life. Relationships have brought me more joy in life than anything else, and I know that will continue to be the case. “All things being equal, people will do business with, and refer business to, those people they know, like and trust.” -Bob Burg
