I've spent 12 years in People leadership at tech startups, mostly during the messy parts: reorgs, acquisitions, leadership transitions. I'm usually brought in when something is changing, not when things are running smoothly.
Most of my work has been at complex, data-intensive platform companies where AI is a core part of the product. I care a lot about how that context shapes People work, and I run my teams accordingly: we're expected to understand the technology, use it, and stay ahead of how it's changing what we do.
I've worked across organizations spanning the US, EMEA, and APAC, where complexity requires first-principles thinking over playbooks. The part I find most interesting is building something that actually works for people in different geographies and enables them to do their best work.
