Jin DawodFounder, Peace Therapist | Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 | UNHCR Nansen AwardeeI am building systems that make healing accessible—because without it, peace cannot be sustained. As the founder of Peace Therapist, I lead a multilingual, technology-driven mental health platform delivering culturally sensitive support to people affected by conflict, displacement, and disaster. Our work operates across Türkiye, Syria, and Europe, connecting individuals to psychological care in Turkish, Arabic, Kurdish, and English—reaching tens of thousands who would otherwise remain unsupported. This work is rooted in lived experience.Growing up shaped by conflict and displacement, I witnessed how crises do not end when the violence stops. They continue within individuals—impacting their ability to learn, work, connect, and rebuild. Over time, I saw that this was not an individual struggle, but a systemic gap.Peace Therapist was created to respond to that gap.Today, it has supported over 70,000 individuals across 26+ countries, working with a network of 150+ psychologists. The platform combines digital access, culturally aligned care, and AI-powered matching to ensure that support is not only available—but relevant and effective.Beyond service delivery, we work at the intersection of mental health, peacebuilding, and social cohesion—supporting communities, organizations, and institutions through therapy, training, and capacity-building. Our partners include international and academic institutions such as ILO, UNHCR, SPARK, and Harran University. My work is guided by a simple principle:There is no peace without inner peace.Mental health is not a secondary issue. It is foundational to resilience, inclusion, and long-term stability.I continue to advocate for integrating mental health into global peacebuilding and humanitarian systems—not as an afterthought, but as a core pillar.
