The difficult part was getting a hand on interviewing for the first time, and scouting out who to interview in particular. As a result, I was only able to get one cited voice to guide my review outside of summaries of public statements from the event itself, which slightly biased my coverage. Overall though, I think I did a good job for my first time in a formal publication. I did well with basic news conventions (decent opening, nut graffing, etc.), and I think my language throughout gave it a more interesting voice then if I covered it dryly. Will Improve with more experience.
