Literature Review on Canister Design for Space Inflatable Structures
    Jun 2015 - Aug 2015 (3 months)
Inflatable structures are structures which use pressurized gas, liquid or solid to maintain shape, rigidity and can sustain harsh environments. Space structures have very stringent requirements and limitations. To meet with these limitations a new type of space structures came into existence known as inflatable space structures. Inflatable space structures provide reliable, low weight, low launch volume alternative to conventional space structures.
Designing a canister for packaging the inflatable structure efficiently is cause of concern, hence Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) provided us with an opportunity to develop and contrive a canister for Space Inflatable Antenna
The project is still undergoing as " Canister Des
