Each chapter of my professional journey marks a conscious decision to push my limits and collaborate with people who raise the bar. In my experience, there are just a few moments of clarity in life when you pause and realize your exact trajectory has prepared you for a specific, high-stakes opportunity: -scaling start-ups. Here's how it all began...
10 years of Naval service as a nuclear engineering officer, serving with incredibly talented people who would ultimately become the backbone of my network, -gaining leadership experience and the confidence that if I could get a masters in engineering management after starting with Thermodynamics in Spanish, I should be able to figure most things out! ; ) I went into tech sales after I left active duty and cut my teeth in sales by going door to door, learning from the best and achieving President's Club at the world-leader in global biotech innovation, Thermo Fisher Scientific. It was fairly humbling going from being a Lieutenant Commander on an aircraft carrier, running a department of 200 people, shifting gears to being slapped around by feisty officer managers protecting their doc's time (shout out to all my pharma and med device reps out there, IYKYK!). After a former navy nuke tapped me on the shoulder for an exciting opportunity to get into SaaS sales with a world class KYB/KYC digital ID verification company, I shifted gears again. One, successful exit later, I found myself eager to join early stage companies looking to build something awesome together. Tapped on the shoulder by yet another navy nuke, I went deeper into the world of payments, hunting new business as an enterprise AE at the world's leading Payment's Orchestration solution. Crushing my quotas at 127% attainment, I was given an opportunity to grow and run the new business team. Over the last 4 years, I’ve been mentoring and growing commercial and enterprise reps, celebrating incredible milestones together and gaining tremendous experience from my seat at the leadership table. I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. How can I help you on yours?
