Ethan Ash

Ethan currently serves as Executive Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships for Bionews. Bionews is the world's leading digital health publisher in rare disease, with over 40 rare disease communities - reaching over 70% of the diagnosed patients and caregivers for the populations they serve. Bionews partners with industry to engage their community members for treatment information, clinical trial enrollment, insights and advocacy. Prior to Bionews, Ethan has been a co-founder and consultant at multiple businesses in the fields of healthcare, marketing, hospitality, and strategic planning. Ethan had worked in the online health information field as a co-founder of Vertical Health for nearly 10 years seeing through its acquisition by Remedy Health Media in 2019. Ethan's professional expertise is primarily focused in business development, marketing and revenue growth. In 2017, Ethan co-founded the Youth Entrepreneurship Market & Mentorship Program (YEM). YEM provides students with a series of business start-up workshops and mentoring, concluding with a pitch event and series of community markets for the students to sell their concepts to the public. In a volunteer capacity, Ethan has served on a range of non-profit boards & mission-driven organizations including the MindWell Center, State Theater of Ithaca, SimpliFed and the Tompkins County Tourism Board. He currently serves as President of State Theater of Ithaca. Ethan is a graduate of Cornell University and lives with his wife Rachel, three boys, dog, cat and chickens in Ithaca NY.
