Interned for Walmart’s Accounting and Finance Development Program (AFDP) and was placed to work in Walmart US General Merchandise Finance. In this role, I worked on process improvement by leveraging AI and creating agents within AI. I also worked on tariff materials, market share analysis, and customer insights to better understand the reasons a shopper is visiting a store. I spent much of my time completing ad hoc asks in additional to a summer-long project.

AFDP Intern - Supply Chain Finance

Interned for Walmart’s Accounting and Finance Development Program (AFDP) and was placed to work in Sam’s Club Supply Chain Finance. I worked on a project relating to the perishable supply chain in which I automated a forecasting report by utilizing Power BI, and I created new SKU specific insights by leveraging previously unused perishable data. I also competed in 3 case studies that covered the different segments of Walmart (Walmart US, Sam’s Club, and International).

Co-Founder and VP of Finance and Operations - Baylor Chapter

Scholars of Finance

Worked on a team of 7 to establish Scholars of Finance at Baylor. I was in charge of chapter finances and member operations. I created a chapter budget and assisted the co-founder team in preparing a timeline and plan to recruit and rollout SOF Baylor. The Baylor chapter grew to over 80 members, heard from numerous guest speakers, and successfully completed all membership requirements during my time in leadership.

Interned with the largest division of Taylor Morrison and learned the basics of homebuilding including project funding, land development, construction, and mortgages. Researched and presented a capstone project on how to prepare the home building industry for younger buyers from Generation Z.
