My life has been predicated on curiosity and innovation, constantly challenging what is known and what is possible. From childhood, whether it was building a sandcastle in the backyard or a Lego city in my bedroom, I was always curious how things worked and how much better they could be. Over time, the sandcastles got bigger and sturdier and the Lego cities scaled to the size of my room. With each iteration, my curiosity fueled innovation and improvement, looking to discover what could be achieved and where my creations could go.
As my career took shape, I found my curiosity and innovation taking different forms. Eventually building sandcastles became designing document search engines and planning Lego cities became structuring processes for international receivables, but my curiosity and drive to challenge boundaries remained.
The people I have met and relationships I have forged have made my success possible. Integrity and trust drive those relationships. I am proud to say that I employ both traits in my everyday life, work, and responsibilities. As my life and career have moved along, the journey my curiosity has cast taught me that:
I can turn an idea on paper into a successful company
• Nothing is ever final, there is always room to improve
• Failure is the best teacher
• Success is achieved with people, not in competition with them
I can successfully create and scale software products from concept to 6 figure contracts
• The customer is my #1 focus
• I seek out data to drive my decisions
• I can execute large scale ideas while managing constraints
I employ self-iteration to be a better person
• Integrity remains the cornerstone of my decisions
• I am never done learning or developing
• I remain calm when I face adversity
My curiosity and passion for innovation remain as there are many more challenges to take on. I enjoy meeting new people and discussing new perspectives. Reach out if you’d like to discuss new products, startup ideas, standup comedy, or sports statistics.
