    The French Embassy in the US offers nationally competitive awards to university student organizations throughout the country that submit proposals to advance French influence on campus. I applied on behalf of GW DATA, George Washington University's Data Science student organization. GW DATA is developing an algorithm to pair wine and cheeses as well as visualizing international trade data quantifying the depth of the US-Franco alliance.
