Jonathan Farnell

With over 27 years’ experience working in the banking and fintech sector, I specialise in electronic money issuance, payment services, cryptocurrency, global licensing, regulatory & operational risk management and ICO structuring. Experienced in business startups, I was a co-founder of FCA regulated Arro Money which was acquired by the eToro Group where I went on to hold a number of executive roles, including Director of Compliance at eToro Money and Head of Operations at eToroX (crypto exchange). At Binance I have held a number of senior positions including Head of Binance UK, CEO of Bifinity (fiat on/off ramp), member of the Group's ELT and director & board member of various Group entities. I have been approved as a Fit & Proper Individual by various regulators including the FCA, the DNB, the GFSC and CySEC. I also have extensive experience in M&A, government relations management and also regulatory engagement both at the licence application stage and representing the Business post authorisation.
