    Mcaf.ee - McAfee's Short URL provider
    Apr 2010 - Nov 2017 (7 years 8 months)
Short URLs are one way cybercriminals entice people to click on links - you simply can't tell where you'll end up. The McAf.ee short url links are secured by the cumulative knowledge of the McAfee Global Threat Information system, and thus are significantly safer. The two golden rules of URL shorteners are usually understood to be that links must live forever, and you can never reuse a link - this preserves

Autodomain was a deployment tool written to zero-touch onboard users into the SafeBoot/McAfee Endpoint Encryption product. You could simply include it in the distribution package, and it would handle everything - create and assign users, capture and set up passwords, put machines into the right groups - totally zero touch deployment. Over the life of the project, it generated around $60m of business. I was the sole author of the toolkit, with Dan Larson as my trusted field SE helping define th
