Clare Mathers

Clare is working is to transform mental health care through technology with a human touch — to get more patients the care they need when they need it at Lyra Health. Previously, Clare worked at Better, a digital healthcare startup based in Palo Alto, as Health Services Manager. Better provides free tools and premium access to a team of real Personal Health Assistants so you can spend more time improving your health, not managing the logistics. Backed by the Mayo Clinic and the Social+Capital Partnership, our team has founded and grown some of the biggest healthcare and consumer internet companies in the world. Clare was Rock Health’s second employee, starting as an intern and eventually leading Rock Health's Health Innovation Summit and other strategic programming. She and continues to stay involved by planning social events for Rock Health portfolio companies and is on the planning committee for XX in Health. She graduated with honors from Santa Clara University double majoring in Public Health and Psychology. Her past work includes studying health systems while living in Copenhagen and working at The Center for Applied Ethics and Advocacy in Health Care.
