A leader in AI and Analytics, with experience of both operational delivery and strategic design, planning and engagement. Having established and matured the Civica AI and Analytics group platform and team that delivers around 15+ analytics solutions to market each year. Extensive analytical experience ranging from simple descriptive statistics to complex deep learning solutions. This experience is further enhanced by a Masters in big data analytics that allows me to support, coach and develop data specialists in all fields. I currently manage a team of data analysts, data engineers and data scientists of 15 established team members. Each was recruited and coached by myself and are now delivering high quality work to the business, having recently received that Civica innovation team of the year award in 2023. Skilled in the communication of information to a wide range of audiences ranging from operational users through to C-Suite and executive stakeholders. I have worked on analytics projects across a range of public sector areas, giving me a broad understanding of many different and nuanced business areas including but not limited to workforce, financials, libraries, pensions, elections, healthcare, education and asset management. Further enhanced by a detailed understanding of the Azure data platform, leading on the platform architecture, equipped with detailed knowledge and experience in Power BI, Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Machine Learning as well as a range of cognitive services such as Azure Form Recognizer and the Azure Bot Platform. Capable in a variety of software platforms including Azure Data Platform (soon to be Fabric), SQL, R, SAS and business objects.
