I’m a multi-award-winning French-Canadian AI Film Director, Art Director and Creative Advisor based in Panama. A Daytime Emmy® Award winner with a BFA in Cinema from Concordia University in Montreal, I bring four decades of experience in animation, filmmaking and visual storytelling across feature films, shorts, documentaries, television series, video games and advertising. Throughout my international career, I’ve worked as a director, animator, art director, concept artist, animation supervisor, storyboard artist, layout artist and character designer. My credits include Steven Spielberg’s animated feature An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, the Oscar-nominated short The Village, Asterix and the Big Fight, and the Emmy® Award-winning series Arthur, on which I worked as an animation supervisor. My illustrations have also appeared in animated documentary segments for National Geographic, Discovery Channel and the Science Channel. Known in the generative AI community as TrashCanRoxanne, I now combine my extensive background in traditional animation, art direction and cinematic storytelling with generative technology. My films are known for their surreal, poetic and emotionally resonant visual worlds and have received multiple international awards and festival selections in Hollywood, London, Venice, Seoul, Tokyo, Prague and beyond. In 2026, I was named one of Leonardo AI’s Top 50 Women AI Filmmakers, in a list featured by Forbes Australia.
