We maintain a highly redundant and performant deployment that has to handle >30,000 QPS of webservice traffic and never go down, in addition to behind-the-scenes data processing of the data that we accept via our webservice and other means.

We support our division's LiveDesign product by maintaining build systems (Maven/Make), continuous integration (Jenkins), and production deployment methods (in-house solutions that wrap around AWS and vSphere APIs.) It's used by the LiveDesign product to run computational models on drugs in a massively parallel and scalable manner.

    Windows, Linux, OS X cross-platform development and all-around hackery for end-user computing software solutions, implemented in Python, C++, HTML5, you name it. * Helped create a system called CDS (Component Download Service) which is still used in VMware end-user products today to deliver updates to many thousands of users via a CDN. * Co-developed ThinApp Factory (vmware/thinapp_factory) which is a continuous integration system for automatically creating ThinApps from a recipe. * Co-developed VMware Horizon View HTML Access which allows people to use Windows apps from a browser. Worked on the patented algorithm which allows users to see only the windows associated with their app instead of an entire Windows desktop. (US Patent 10082941)
