I’m a big believer in that it all starts with the “why” not what you do.
This starts with my passion for building organizations that are foundationally humble, hungry and smart and self-aware. With these attributes, we focus on looking for ways to learn from our relationships and the ecosystem we are a part of, what our customers need, then understand how to best apply our technology and solutions in order for them to overcome their challenges and achieve their aspirational goals as an organization.
Our goal is to have a transformational impact on our customers.
And then beyond these critical attributes, I believe that the best sales teams are ones who operate with respect. Respect for our customers, respect for our partners, and respect for each other.
They build and protect an awesome culture, a culture that influences the way we interact with our partners and our customers. Part of being humble and smart is seeking and implementing feedback. It is important to seek opportunities to grow and lead, which is critical and important to any sales team, particularly when they're working with customers in a complex environment.
When we, as a team, operate with the Why in our approach, we engage with our customers as trusted advisors. They know we are working with them, focused on their needs, and helping them attain the aspirational goals they have as individuals and as an organization.
