    The research-driven Semantic Web has been around for a while already, but seems to lack enterprise adoption. The more recent industry-driven Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) however is gaining momentum and will be the architectural pattern for the next couple of years. We believe that it is the perfect opportunity for the Semantic Web community to ride on the success of SOA in the enterprise world and benefit from, but also add to, its success. SOA still has a weak point and that is the static nature of for instance service discovery and negotiation.
