I care about how finance actually works in fast-growing companies, where speed and control are constantly pulling against each other. The job is to build a finance function that lets the business move quickly without flying blind and to give founders and boards numbers they can genuinely make decisions on.I am a Chartered Accountant and finance leader who builds and scales global finance functions across high-growth SaaS and AI. At Heidi Health I joined as the first finance hire and built the function across multiple countries and entities as the company moved through hypergrowth, covering strategic finance, fundraising, controllership, tax structuring, equity and finance operations. Before that I spent nearly five years at SafetyCulture through its scale-up years and trained as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in Ireland.I am pragmatic over theoretical, commercial as much as technical and most useful when there is ambiguity to cut through. I would rather build something simple that lasts than a process nobody uses.
