I am a serial entrepreneur and, on the side, a 3D geometry enthusiast. I like to indulge in problem-solving as a hobby, ranging from simple Sudoku puzzles to sophisticated industry disruption. My M.O. is to create a new solution by combining existing things when solving challenging problems. In the past, I helped manufacturers digitalize legacy parts by leveraging feature-based 3D modeling ideas. I applied the Github source code revisioning concept to automate engineering change order management. Today, I am the CEO of Cupix and focus on utilizing space mapping technologies developed for unmanned vehicles to devise a DIY 3D capture methodology and make building/maintaining facilities and infrastructures much more efficient and error-free.
● Founded Cupix in 2015. Currently working hard to provide an incredibly easy and fast way to capture sites in 3D only using a consumer-grade 360 camera as a building block of a brand-new 3D digital twin for general contractors, owners, and property managers.
● Lead the strategy development and its implementation for a 3D printing specialized cloud platform and client apps at 3D Systems.
● Founded VisPower in Sunnyvale, CA in 2010 and lead the company to develop and market TeamPlatform.com, a unique and pioneering SaaS app disrupting the product design collaboration market. VisPower was acquired by 3D Systems in 2013.
● Founded INUS Technology in Seoul, Korea in 1998 and served as CEO until 2010. Its flagship Rapidform software had been the world's best-selling 3D redesign and shape inspection software using 3D scan data. INUS was acquired by 3D Systems in 2012 and has operated since successfully as the Geomagic brand.
