I build things. Software, teams, processes, and when the opportunity is right, whole departments.
I've been in software development for 16+ years, and for more than half that time I've held some form of leadership role, but I've never stopped thinking like an engineer. Whether I'm an IC working through a hard architecture problem, a manager clearing blockers for my team, or a director figuring out how to scale an org, my instinct is always to get closer to the problem, not further from it.
Technically I live in C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and Azure, with a deep focus on DevOps and CI/CD. But the work I'm most proud of isn't code, it's the teams I've helped build, the processes I've introduced where chaos existed, and the people I've watched grow into roles they weren't sure they were ready for.
I believe the best engineering organizations are built on a simple idea: invest genuinely in your people and your product, and everything else follows.
