Nirvana is problem solving. It’s that moment when the world slips away while you are looking for root cause, brainstorming, and working as a team. I’ve been there with executives, engineers, scientists, sales leaders, marketing gurus, and data ninjas. Synergy kicks in, silos and barriers break down, and the engine hums. And that’s why I do what I do: I look for and conjure those moments for others. I broke new ground with lasers and engineering at a manufacturing company then pivoted to continue to build systems around data for a software company. I see bright potential in the problematic and hard. My specialties include leading technical teams, mentoring, managing projects, programming, and design. Overall, I am a dynamic learner and doer determined to improve the lives of those around me. When I’m not at work, I am most likely about my most important role: being a father and husband. Which involves loving them, being with them, and listening to them… or… listening to an audiobook while I take care of dishes.
