I helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars from major telcos, banks, and investors around the world in pursuit of our dream of launching 288 satellites into low earth orbit in order to provide broadband data services to every point on the globe. Also earned my only patent during my short stint on the network engineering team :) Teledesic didn't make it for many reasons, but nonetheless this was one of the best jobs ever. I got to work with a bunch of amazingly talented people who were also incredibly fun to be around.

Designed parallel algorithms to identify discrete objects in motion video clips, back when having 32 CPUs was a big deal. Learned the importance of physical environment in reinforcing cultural values and promoting creativity.
