    Inspiration for this project came from General McChrystal (Ret), who has argued that we cannot understand the Taliban insurgency without understanding the complex agricultural dynamics of the Af-Pak region. We sought to better understand the way opium is used to finance the insurgency. The project was supervised by Professor Joseph Doyle, with collaboration from a number of international agencies. Publication forthcoming.
