The foundation of Joshua Expeditions stemmed from a desire to be like the brave biblical leader Joshua. As a young man I had dealt with many trials and tribulations including being raised in an abusive family. I was raised by a mother that was institutionalized due to mental issues. As I turned my life over to Jesus, he began to heal me from years of living in this abusive situation. I then began to have hope that the Lord had a greater cause for my life. Many know that children living in this type of dysfunctional home lose any type of hope. Now that Jesus began to heal me, I just wanted to honor him with my passions and gifts.
