Passionate about translating design through information, I am an architect with a keen interest in pushing the boundaries of creativity and efficiency in the architectural realm. My journey in the field has been marked by recognition, innovation, and a commitment to transforming architectural practices. I hold a Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and complemented my education with an MSc in Building Information Management from the University of Portsmouth. This academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping my perspective on the symbiotic relationship between architecture and information. I have had the privilege of being shortlisted in several design competitions, a testament to my dedication to delivering innovative and impactful designs. One of the milestones in my career is introducing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to the architectural conservation process for the first time in Lebanon. This groundbreaking initiative reflects my commitment to embracing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in the pursuit of excellence. My professional journey has taken me across diverse projects in the Middle East, North Africa, and America, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the different tracks within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) practice. Currently working as the BIM & Technical Design Coordinator at Laceco Architects & Engineers, I continue to bridge the gap between BIM and design, aligning theory with practical application in professional settings. In addition to my architectural work, I actively contribute to the development of industry professionals. I conduct leadership and public speaking workshops, leveraging my experience to empower the next generation of architects. Furthermore, I am adept at implementing Building Information Management at the corporate level, strategically aligning it with organizational objectives. My focus on digital transformation is reflected in my recent research endeavors, which explore the integration of the Metaverse with BIM and Digital Twins within the AEC industry.
