The intersection of healthcare and marketing is my professional happy place.
I have spent the past 20 years in healthcare, learning daily about the complexities of providers, payers, employers, and life sciences companies. My experiences working in tech and services have given me expertise in many corners of the industry, including mental health, value-based care, revenue cycle management, nursing, growth strategy, IT, patient experience, and more.
My other passion? B2B marketing.
I started my career as a researcher at the Advisory Board Company. I could not have asked for a better place to learn healthcare and "grow up" professionally. After six years in research, I took on leadership roles in customer marketing and delivery, did a stint as chief of staff to the Advisory Board's COO, and finally landed where I was meant to be: marketing.
As a product marketing leader at Optum, I helped a 1000+ healthcare consulting shop explain to the market what made them unique. I worked side-by-side with leaders across payer and provider practices to develop thought leadership to generate more pipeline and killer sales pitches to help them close business.
After working for the biggest of the big healthcare companies, I sought a new experience: marketing at a high-growth start-up. At Notable, I was the first and only product marketer. At a late-night whiteboard session on my second day, I helped conceive and launch our prior authorization product. Within two months, I built what became a seven-person team covering product, customer, and content marketing.
Almost three years (and lots of growth) later, I embarked on my next challenge. As VP of Marketing at Amalgam Rx, I built the marketing function from the ground up as the company's first marketing executive.
In 2024, I returned to my product marketing roots at Spring Health, where I lead a 25-person team spanning product marketing, enablement, and our creative brand studio. I am privileged to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform mental healthcare.
I love to learn new things and understand them deeply. By asking the right questions, I get to the crux of what truly matters to a customer, why something an engineer built is actually unique, or what a team member is really worried about. There is nothing like those "eureka" moments.
I like to take those learnings and make things grow: both companies and people.
I live with my family just outside Washington, DC, where you can find me tending to my native plant garden, collecting vinyl, and watching my cats do the funniest things.
