As co-founder, I offer leadership and vision, domain expertise, and operational support across Kiddom's product and curriculum, go-to market, business development, and impact teams. I help build strategic partnerships with content and PL service providers, school districts, and state leaders. I represent Kiddom in the global pK-12 community and lead government affairs. I help the Kiddom team operate as a customer-centric organization, building digital forward, human-first products and experiences. Literacy is liberation, numeracy is activation.

ROADS Bronx Charter High School opened its doors in 2012 as an alternative high school serving over-age, under-credited youth. This would be the second time I join a school as a founding math teacher. I used my experience working in this setting to define and design an asynchronous, competency-based high school mathematics curriculum to support students previously unsuccessful in traditional mathematics classrooms. Innovation Diploma Plus High School opened its doors in 2009 as an alternative high school serving over-age, under-credited youth. I was a founding math teacher and worked directly with the founding principal to define and design an asynchronous, competency-based high school mathematics curriculum to support students previously unsuccessful in traditional mathematics classrooms. I taught high school algebra and financial literacy. To meet my students' needs, I built a lightweight standards-based gradebook and LMS to ensure my students could access the course content and their performance at their convenience.

Investment Banking Analyst

Merrill Lynch

I joined Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banking Analyst right out of college. In this role, I analyzed merger consequences, leveraged buyouts, debt, equity and equity-linked financing alternatives for healthcare services, medical technology, biotechnology, specialty and large-cap pharmaceutical companies. This role helped me understand that financial planning and analysis as a day-to-day gig was not my passion.
