    The Summit 2024
    Feb 2024
In the month of February 2024, Hack Club flew me to San Francisco to spend a weekend with 50 other high school developers from around the world. During this amazing experience, we spent a lot of time exploring the beautiful city of San Francisco and sharing stories from our hometowns, all while learning from one another and working on our projects. Being a part of the Summit was a lot more than a hackathon; it was a gateway to new friendships, interests, insights, and possibilities. From biking to the Golden Gate Bridge and trying out the Apple Vision Pro to living in The Lighthouse and learning from industry leaders like GitHub Founder Tom Preston-Werner, every moment at the Summit was truly mind-blowing. Advent of Code 2023
    Dec 2023
Advent of Code 2023 was the first community event hosted by my organization, the British Columbia Youth Developer Collective. The event was a private leaderboard of the international Advent of Code event, where two coding challenges are released every day for the first 25 days of December. In under a week, our community grew from just 1 member to over 120 high school student developers from across British Columbia. I've always been passionate about computer science and youth entrepreneurship, and BCYDC is the product of that passion. Overall, over 60 high school developers

When I moved from Toronto to Vancouver in mid-2021, my friend and I started working on a Minecraft server marketplace that would help server owners advertise their projects, grow their audience, and increase their income. Our vision was pretty clear: make an unparalleled platform that seamlessly connects players with an array of servers with a clean and convenient user experience. Over the next 4-5 months, we developed multiple iterations of this project and released it to the Minecraft community. Throughout this time, I primarily worked on designing and developing two versions of the front end of the website, as well as planning our growth and member-acquisition plans with my co-founder. When we launched, we had an extremely clean and int

During my Grade 8 year, my school went digital because of the COVID pandemic, and I found myself with a lot of free time to code and do things I love. During this time, under a year after I moved from India to Toronto and only a couple of months after my first freelance project, I undertook my first large-scale project. As someone who was chronically online on Discord, and with some Discord bot development experience, I noticed the difficulty in growing bots and the lack of efficient platforms for bot developers to advertise their projects. With funding from one of the first mentors who hired me as a freelancer, I set out to develop a Discord bot listing platform that bridges the gap and provides an intuitive and seamless experience for bo
