As Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Groupe in Latin America, Monica Gadsby oversees all Publicis assets in the region. In March of 2016, she launched a new agency model that fosters collaboration across media, creative and specialised agencies, offering clients more agile and modular solutions for a rapidly changing world.
Prior to assuming the helm for Publicis One, Monica oversaw Latin America and U.S. multicultural markets for Starcom Mediavest Group. With 28 years of experience, Monica is seen as a pioneer in diversity marketing. She was a founding member of the Leo Burnett Hispanic Unit in 1987, and eventually went on to establish and develop the two leading U.S. multicultural media agencies of all time in Tapestry and 42 Degrees. In Latin America, Monica doubled Starcom Mediavest Group’s revenue in the last six years, while successfully shifting the company’s focus to digital, data and content. She has gained extensive experience working with multinational clients across a variety of industries and countries and possesses unique insight and understanding of commonalities and differences that define opportunity in each country.
