Back End Developer
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
I’m a Computer Science student at Drexel University with hands-on experience building production systems across full-stack, data infrastructure, and backend engineering. Currently, I work part-time as a Full-Stack Developer for The Triangle, Drexel’s student-run newspaper, where I’m leading the migration from WordPress to a custom-built CMS. I designed and implemented a headless CMS in Go with a React frontend and REST API, and built a Python-based ETL pipeline to migrate over 11 years of content (18k+ articles, 5k+ authors) into a new MariaDB-backed system. I also developed a MinHash-based entity resolution system using NumPy and Numba to improve data integrity at scale. Previously, as a Software Engineer Co-op at eMoney Advisor, I contributed to a large-scale .NET codebase (1.3M+ LOC), shipping production features, improving test coverage with NUnit, and debugging partner API issues using Elasticsearch and Kibana. I worked within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Octopus and collaborated closely with senior engineers on production integrations. I’m particularly interested in systems that require strong performance and thoughtful design. I’ve built projects including an HNSW-based vector search engine optimized for latency–recall tradeoffs and a high-performance MinHash library achieving 6× speedups over existing implementations. Technically, I work across Python, C#, C++, TypeScript, and Dart, with experience in React, .NET, Flask, Flutter, and data systems using NumPy, Numba, and SQL.
