I WANTED TO BE EVERYTHING Some call it being impressionable, but I call it my life force. I saw that there were endless things that I could do, and I wanted all of it! The one downside of it was that it made me distractable (and a little mischievous). I TRIED NEW THINGS I have been an unstoppable force of nature since I was a child. I played the guitar, acted and danced on stage, swam in the Aegean, moved to Germany, traveled Europe, learned new languages, practiced taekwondo, you name it! I loved doing all of it, but what did I REALLY want to do? I still had to discover that. SCHOLAR BY CHANCE I decided to put my language skills to the test and entered the university exam without putting too much thought into it. I was accepted into a college and began taking classes in literature. I could have never guessed how it was going to change my life completely. I FELL IN LOVE The myths, stories, plots, climaxes, characters, anti-heroes, and philosophies of the books I read totally blew my mind. I became enchanted by my disenchantment. As a late bloomer in discovering this world, I started to love every second of it. School started to become cool again in my eyes. I WANTED TO WRITE Writing in a diary was one thing, but I wanted to write down all the stories that came to my mind. Once I got into the world of literature, it was impossible for me to get out without writing something from myself. The distractable enthusiast was starting to become more... aware. LIVING MY PURPOSE Now I can't stop writing because it has become a part of me. I'm working as a writer, and I never felt so good working as anything else. I think it's true what they say about work: choose a job you love, and make lemonade! Or something like that.
