Matt Tait

Matt Tait serves as ManTech’s Chief Executive Officer and President leading a global team of 9,800 employees who are committed to national and homeland security through the delivery of innovative solutions and technologies that solve some of the nation’s most challenging problems. Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer responsible for leading the company’s global business strategies. As a leader who embodies integrity and patriotism, Mr. Tait is instrumental in driving innovation and technology to advance customer missions in defense, intelligence and federal civilian sectors, exceeding customer expectations and Securing the Future®. Mr. Tait joined ManTech in July 2018 as a key executive in the delivery of a broad range of engineering, technology and digital services. Under his leadership, ManTech expanded and repositioned the company’s Department of Defense and federal civilian businesses to align with the company’s strategy of Bringing Digital to the Mission®. His teams use data-driven intelligence to accomplish many missions, from training next-generation cyberwarriors to ensuring the safety of the nation’s borders and military perimeters, providing expertise in critical and high-end geospatial imagery analysis and science, and leveraging deployed digital platforms that ensure top-flight medical care for millions of service members, veterans and their families anywhere on the planet. Mr. Tait joined ManTech following two decades with Accenture, where he led key initiatives that transformed IT performance for customers in the defense, federal civilian, health care and financial sectors. A veteran, Mr. Tait served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy and earned a Bachelor of Science in political science and government from the U.S. Naval Academy. Mr. Tait was named to the 2018 WashingtonExec list of “Top 10 National Security Executives to Watch” and is a 2016 Fed 100 winner for leading the rescue of Healthcare.gov. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a group dedicated to ending veteran homelessness, and is active with the Boulder Crest Retreat Foundation, which provides mental health care for troops, veterans and their families dealing with PTSD and combat-related stress.
