    iAcquire EDU
Due to iAcquire's heavy emphasis Persona Development, we wanted to demonstrate real thought leadership and expertise for Behavioral Psychology and other aspects of Marketing Psychology. The goal was to highlight iAcquire's new direction under the new Director, and publically showcase our cutting edge product offerings developed by Michael King, powered in part by top-notch research & development capabilities led by Joshua Giardino, the Manager of Research & Development. A Content Strategy plan was developed as part of a comprehensive Inbound Marketing campaign, targeting organic search and s

    SEOMoz User Directory Crawler
I developed a multi-threaded Python based crawler designed to extract the user data from ALL visible users of SEOMoz from their use directory. Speed and accuracy were important design considerations, as this data was going to be used for a detailed community research piece. The piece was finally released on the SEOMoz blog here: http://moz.com/blog/what-i-learned-from-scraping-seomozs-active-user-base It gained quite a bit of attention from the Moz Community, especially from the actual Moz Team. Rand Fishkin seemed to thoroughly enjoy the Analysis performed by the iAcquire Team.

    Keyword Level Demographics Prototype
Keyword-Level Demographics Project v0.1.9.12 Code by Michael King - mike@ipullrank.com with contributions by Joshua Giardino - jsgiardino@yahoo.com The following code was developed to pull search referrers and Facebook data and push it to Google Analytics. The code is meant to be a proof of concept for how keyword-level demographics can be devised by combining two readily available data sources. The application of this methodology is thoroughly discussed in Michael King's SMX East 2011 presentation "The Past Present and Future of Personas in Search." Michael King also goes on to explain the methodology in an SEOMoz post at http://www.seomoz.org/blog/keyword-level-demographics

The New SEO Process (Quit Being Kanye)
    SEOmoz
    Feb 2012
The responsibilities of SEO practitioners have changed to include far more of the digital ecosystem, yet for so many, much of the SEO process remains the same. Currently there are several segments of SEO strategy seen as optional that are actually absolutely imperative to the success of an SEO campaign, as well as to the synergy of other initiatives within the marketing mix. In other words, SEO must adopt and adapt in order to be taken seriously and command the type of influence required to drive change. As it stands, SEO looks to disrupt the symphony (or cacophony) that is a brand’s marketing mix. Let’s discuss a new process that allows SEO to improve the effectiveness of all digital marketing channels – not just inbound.
