I've been building and investing in startups for 15 years.
After growing up in Seattle and studying in LA (USC), I moved to Bogotá in 2012 to bridge the gap between the US tech ecosystem and Colombia. Since then I've combined my interests in entrepreneurship, LatAm, and investing to build several high growth businesses that have cumulatively raised over $50M in venture capital, created over 4000 jobs, and generated $250M+ in enterprise value.
In 2015 I co-founded Mi Aguila, a leading mobility company in Colombia focused on providing companies and their employees a safer and more reliable alternative to public transport.
When the pandemic hit in 2020 we temporarily repurposed our engineering team and operation to build a "white label Instacart" for the largest supermarket in Colombia. After building this product and selling/delivering nearly 25M products in the first year, we got excited about partnering with other founders and deploying engineering resources to experiment with new products.
This led us to launching Katapult Studios, a venture studio and boutique software development firm where we leverage our team, access in LatAm, and our experience as founders to help "katapult" a small group of select companies that we love.
